Regional Offices

The INCU has now developed two regional offices, recognising the need to increase its engagement with a broad cross-section of the international community. 

BAKU, REPUBLIC OF AZERBAIJAN REGIONAL OFFICE

• INCU Baku Resolution adopted on 23 May 20214 at the Inaugural INCU Global Conference

• INCU Baku Regional Office opened 11 September 2015
   

SHANGHAI, CHINA REGIONAL OFFICE

• INCU Shanghai Regional Office opened July 2025, as part of hosting the INCU Summer School

Both Regional Offices were established to:

• Cooperate with other regional organisations and academic institutions in promoting academic research, education, training and capacity-building;

• assist the INCU Secretariat with the implementation of the INCU Baku Resolution;

• conduct fellowship and internship programs for students, recent graduates, researchers and customs professionals;

• organise academic events including regional and international conferences, workshops, seminars and lectures;

• publish an academic journal and other publications and research materials; and

• promote academic publications and research among customs students and professionals.
